Our MUSIC TOGETHER® classes build on your child's natural enthusiasm for music and movement. We'll help you provide your child with the basic musical skills needed to enjoy school and social musical activities. We'll give you the tools for making music at home. Parents are shown ways to stimulate their child’s music development regardless of their own musical background. The class experience, reinforced by parent involvement and listening to recorded music, stimulates learning at home through play. This program is based on early childhood development research, and is designed to allow your child to flourish!
Children LOVE Music Together®! Imagine a class for you and your infant, toddler, or preschooler where there are wonderful sounds, interesting movements, instruments to play, other children to watch, silly things to laugh at, an inviting teacher to follow, and music your child will love! This is a Music Together class!
We believe that music is as much a basic life skill as language, and that all children can learn to sing in tune, keep a beat, and participate in music-making with confidence. The instruction is informal; children may or may not participate as they choose and are free to do so according to their developmental level. The active participation of parents and/or caregivers is essential in class. Age birth to four.
